Dental molar tube

Dental molar tube is a metal tube welded on the buccal side of dental orthodontic belt ring. It can insert the end of orthodontic arch wire and play a fixed role. A small hook is designed on the buccal tube, which can be used to hang rubber bands for internal or intermaxillary traction.

There are various types of buccal tubes, such as cover lifting buccal tube, square wire buccal tube, straight wire buccal tube, extraoral arch buccal tube, round wire buccal tube and so on.

Usage of orthodontic buccal tube:

When fixed correction is adopted, it is necessary to apply acid etchant on the dental molar tubegroove of the first or second molars, wash with clean water and dry, apply adhesive, and stick the buccal tube with resin cement. The bracket of the front tooth can be ligated and fixed with the buccal tube, and the orthodontic arch wire can control the movement of other teeth by using the anchorage of molars. After aligning the dentition and leveling the dental arch, a rubber chain can be hung between the buccal tube and the traction hook to slide and close the gap. When teenagers have maxillary protrusion, the end of the extraoral arch can be inserted into the buccal canal, and the head cap can be combined to push the molar to move far, promote the retraction of the anterior teeth and change the protrusion. After correction, the buccal tube can be removed and the retainer can be worn.
