Product introduction:

The glass desiccator is a sealed container with a wide edge frosted cover, the lower half of the base is a narrowed waist, and there is a wide edge on the inner wall of the waist, which is used to place the porcelain plate. The porcelain plate has holes of different sizes. The dried substances are stored on the porcelain plate, and the desiccant is stored on the lower base of the porcelain plate.

The cover is arched and round, and there is a round glass drop on the top of the cover, which is used as a handle to move the cover. The wide edge of the cover is ground flat to match the base to achieve the purpose of sealing. 

How to use Desiccator with porcelain plate:

1. Wash and dry the dryer in advance.

2. Put different desiccants (usually color changing silica gel, concentrated sulfuric acid or anhydrous calcium chloride, etc.) into the base of the dryer according to needs.

3. Then put the plate on and evenly smear Vaseline on the edge of the glass dryer and the cover to isolate the internal and external air.

4. Close the cover correctly. When capping, you should also hold the dome of the lid and push it horizontally.

5. Place the discolored silica gel at the bottom of the glass dryer and put it into the diaphragm with round hole.

6. Put the material to be dried on the porcelain plate (if the medium heat material is put in, move the dryer cover from time to time to let the air out, otherwise the cover will be pushed up due to the expansion of the air).

Storage

Products could be stored in normal situation indoors, which is clean and tidy.

Transportation

This product can be transported by sea or by air or by train, loading and unloading should not throw, packed into middle box and to outer carton, we usually suggest if shipped by LCL, pack glasses by pallets.

2. What other colour desiccator?

For desiccator with porcelain plate, we have clear and brown, two colours, clear is more common. 

3. How to pack to avoid broken condition?

Usually for LCL ship, we suggest pack by pallet, if order is for full 20ft /40HQ container, we load in workshop to send to seaport and ship, which can protect glasses well.
