●Advantage
Constructed from 3.3 borosilicate glass, featuring outstanding thermal‑shock performance and crack‑resistant property. Uniform wall thickness guarantees even heat distribution during boiling and distillation tests. Wide‑neck structure simplifies filling, liquid transfer and sample feeding. The round‑bottom design is well‑suited for long‑duration liquid heating, widely applied in chemistry teaching as well as routine lab distillation and reflux reactions.
Application
Guide Medlab glass round bottom flasks are high-strength reaction vessels made of 3.3 borosilicate glass, designed for uniform heating, reflux and distillation operations. They are widely applied in organic chemistry laboratories, pharmaceutical research, environmental analysis and university chemical teaching.
• Continuous heating, boiling and constant-temperature reactions for organic synthesis experiments
• Laboratory distillation, reflux condensation and solvent purification procedures
• Long-term thermal reactions that require stable and uniform heat distribution
• Sample pretreatment and conventional chemical testing in scientific research and industrial laboratories
Usage Method
1. Thoroughly clean the round bottom flask before use to remove dust and residual contaminants.
2. Add reactants and solvents through the flask neck; avoid overfilling to prevent liquid overflow during heating.
3. Secure the flask firmly with lab stand and clamp prior to heating.
4. Only use water‑bath or oil‑bath heating. Direct open‑flame heating is prohibited. Avoid sharp drastic temperature changes to prevent glass cracking.
5. Connect with compatible lab glass accessories to build reflux or distillation setups.
6. Fully clean and dry the flask after experiments for repeated use.
