Application

Used primarily to hold sections of cells or tissues that need to be viewed under a microscope. Slides are suitable for thermal printers and inkjet printers. 7109 series are painted no changing colour in routine H&E staining.

7109 glass slides are used to carry samples and are observed under an optical microscope in conjunction with cover slides. Common methods of use include mounting, smear, or compression. They are non adhesive and rely on liquid tension or physical fixation. ‌‌

Usage of 7109:

1. Open the vacuum packaging and gently remove to avoid scratching other glass slides;

2. Pinch both ends of the glass slide, and do not touch the transparent observation area in the middle with your fingers;

3. Only when there are no scratches, water stains, or dust can it be used for transparent observation;

4. Use a pencil to indicate the number, date, etc. in the paint area;

5. Place the glass slide on the microscope and drop 1 drop of liquid in the middle;

6. Take another clean cover glass as a slide and spread the liquid evenly;

7. Observe under a microscope.

7109 glass slides are not suitable for samples that require strong adhesion (such as tissue sections, immunohistochemistry), and anti slip/polylysine glass slides should be selected for this type. Avoid finger contact with the observation area throughout the operation to prevent contamination or oil stains from affecting imaging.
