Specimens shall be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 2 days after collection, and the storage temperature shall be in 2-8℃. If it cannot be sent to the laboratory within 48 hours, it should be stored at -70℃ or below temperature.

Application

The VTM Tube is generally used with two swabs, it is designed for clinical samples collection and transportation. It cannot be used for microbial identification and drug sensitivity tests.

●Package

VTM tube is usually ordered with swab to be a VTM test kit. It is packed in a paper-plastic individual bag. If only VTM tube, it will be packed in rack or in media bag before placed in the carton.

●Storage

This product should be placed in the room that within 5~25℃.

●Transportation

Before collecting sample, VTM tube can be transported by any transportations. After collecting sample, it should be transported carefully and prevented violent loading and unloading.
