Application
7107 glass slides are used to carry samples and are observed under an optical microscope in conjunction with cover slides. Common methods of use include mounting, smear, or compression. They are non adhesive and rely on liquid tension or physical fixation.
Cleaning treatment: Clean the glass slide with gauze or silk cloth (new slides can be disinfected with 75% alcohol and dried); Do not use tissue or force to wipe the anti slip glass slide (ordinary glass slides without coating can be moderately wiped).
Loading sample: Select the method based on the sample type - drop 10-20 μ L of liquid sample (such as blood, bacterial liquid) in the center and spread evenly (smear method); Solid tissue (such as onion skin) is flattened by placing it in water droplets using the slicing method; Soft tissue can be lightly compressed with a cover glass (compression method).
Cover the cover glass: Hold the cover glass with tweezers and touch the edge of the droplet at a 30 ° -45 ° angle. Slowly lower it to avoid bubbles; Do not cover it vertically.
Staining (optional): Drop staining solution (such as iodine solution) on one side of the cover glass, and use absorbent paper to drain and infiltrate the other side.
Observation: Place the glass slide on the microscope stage, fix it with a pressure clamp, align the specimen with the light hole, and focus at low magnification first and then high magnification (be careful not to touch the glass slide with the objective lens).
Cleaning: Mainly for one-time use.
7107 glass slides are not suitable for samples that require strong adhesion (such as tissue sections, immunohistochemistry), and anti slip/polylysine glass slides should be selected for this type. Avoid finger contact with the observation area throughout the operation to prevent contamination or oil stains from affecting imaging.
