Product introduction:

The 1000ml brown glass volumetric flask is a neck bottle with a glass frosted stopper. The bottle body is pear shaped, which is convenient for shaking liquid and washing. The neck is long and thin, which reduces the liquid level and makes the measurement accurate. A ring mark is engraved on the neck to measure its nominal capacity.

How to use brown glass volumetric flask:

1. Put the accurate and weight substance into the brown volumetric flask.

2. Inject half the volume of distilled water and shake the volumetric flask to mix the solution evenly.

3. Inject more distilled water until the water level approaches the calibrated ring score.

4. Adjust the temperature of brown volumetric flask and solution to 20℃.

5. Inject a small amount of water to make the water level of the half moon line and the ring score line completely consistent.

6. In order to maintain, the half moon line must be observed from a horizontal angle, and the bottle body above the circular score line must not be splashed.

Cleaning method of brown volumetric flask:

Wash the brown glass volumetric flask with distilled water, then put the solid content into the beaker, add water to completely dissolve it (for example, the solution temperature must be cooled to room temperature when warming). Then move the solution to the cleaned measuring bottle, inject water into the bottle to make the liquid level reach 3-5mm below the marking line, and add water drop by drop with a straw to make the volume of the solution just reach the marking line (that is, the lower edge of the meniscus of the liquid level just touches the horizontal plane of the marking line). It is not allowed to add solid into the measuring bottle to directly prepare the solution. If the solid is not completely dissolved in this way, it is difficult to prepare the solution. It must be noted that the measuring bottle cannot be heated by flame or baked in the oven, because each heating will increase the volume, and it will take a long time to restore the original volume. The measuring bottle can only be used to prepare solutions, and other strong alkali solutions cannot be stored for a long time, so as to prevent corrosion and affect the accuracy of the measuring bottle. After use, try to wash it with water.

1, The volumetric flask cannot be heated. Pay special attention not to hold the bottle by hand; The hot water solution should be cooled to the indoor temperature before being injected into the volumetric flask, otherwise it may lead to volume deviation.

2, It is not allowed to dissolve the solute in the volumetric flask, but the solute should be dissolved in the beaker and transferred to the volumetric flask.

3, The amount of solvent used to clean the beaker must not exceed the mark of the volumetric flask. If it exceeds the mark, it must be reconstituted.

4,The volumetric flask can only prepare a certain volume of aqueous solution, but usually retains 4 significant figures (e.g. 250.0ml). It is not allowed to estimate the number after changing the decimal place because the aqueous solution exceeds or does not reach the scale line. It can only be reconfigured. Therefore, when writing the volume of aqueous solution, it must be xxx.0ml.

5,The volumetric flask should be cleaned as soon as possible after use, and the stopper should be plugged. A paper strip should be clamped between the stopper and the bottle mouth to avoid adhesion between the stopper and the bottle mouth.

6, Volumetric flasks can only be used to prepare aqueous solutions, and cannot be stored for a long time or a long time, especially alkaline solutions, which will corrode the glass and make the bottle stopper stick and cannot be opened.

7,Before using the volumetric flask, check whether the volume of the volumetric flask is the same as that required. Brown volumetric flask shall be selected if preparing the aqueous solution of the substances that are easy to decompose under light.
