7101 is standard ground edge slide, measuring 25.4x76.2mm/ 25x75mm/ 26x76mm with a thickness of 1.0-1.2 mm. All four edges are smoothly polished, free of burrs, and safe to handle without cutting. It is more suitable for frequent slide preparation and teaching experiments compared to 7102 (unground / cut edges). Differences of 7101 and 7102: 7101: 45°/ 90°, safe and resistant to scratching, conventional first choice. 7102: 90°, low cost, prone to cuts, for temporary quick prototyping only.

Usage of Ground Edge Slides 7101:
1. Open the vacuum packaging and gently remove to avoid scratching other glass slides;
2. Pinch slides at both ends, and do not touch the transparent observation area in the middle with your fingers;
3. Only when there are no scratches, water stains, or dust can it be used for transparent observation;
4. Use a pencil to write numbers, dates, etc;
5. Place the glass slide on the microscope and drop 1 drop of liquid in the middle;
6. Take another clean cover glass as a slide and spread the liquid evenly;
7. Observe under a microscope;
8. Mainly for one-time use.
Precautions
7101 No frosted area, no markings allowed; select 7105 (frosted on one end) for marking.
Avoid scratching the central area to prevent impairing visibility.
After use, promptly clean, dry, and store in a dust-free manner.
