Application

The microscope glass slides are mostly used with the microscope to hold a sample in many fields such as geological, petrographic studies, chemistry,  and in school teaching.    

Microscope glass cut edge slides are used to carry samples and are observed under an optical microscope in conjunction with cover slides. Common methods of use include mounting, smear, or compression. They are non adhesive and rely on liquid tension or physical fixation. ‌‌

Usage of Cut Edge Slides 7102:

1. Open the vacuum packaging and gently remove to avoid scratching other glass slides;

2. Pinch slides at both ends, and do not touch the transparent observation area in the middle with your fingers;

3. Only when there are no scratches, water stains, or dust can it be used for transparent observation;

4. Use a pencil to write numbers, dates, etc;

5. Place the glass slide on the microscope and drop 1 drop of liquid in the middle;

6. Take another clean cover glass as a slide and spread the liquid evenly;

7. Observe under a microscope;

8. Mainly for one-time use.

Microscope glass cut edge slides are not suitable for samples that require strong adhesion (such as tissue sections, immunohistochemistry), and anti slip/polylysine glass slides should be selected for this type. Avoid finger contact with the observation area throughout the operation to prevent contamination or oil stains from affecting imaging.
